Cookie policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Hellenic Talent (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit or use the Hellenic Talent platform, accessible at our website (the “Platform”). Hellenic Talent is a digital platform that connects clients worldwide with skilled freelance professionals.

We use cookies and similar technologies to enable the core functionality of the Platform. This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions, both of which are available on our website.

By continuing to use the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Cookie Policy.

2. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet, or other internet-enabled device) when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the website’s owner.

In addition to cookies, we may use local storage and session storage, i.e. mechanisms provided by your browser that allow us to store data locally on your device for the duration of a session or on a persistent basis.

For ease of reference, we use the term “cookies” throughout this Cookie Policy to refer collectively to all the hereinabove mentioned technologies, unless the context requires otherwise.

3. Categories of Cookies Used

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are essential in order for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled without impairing core services. They are typically set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as logging into a secure area or submitting a form. Because these cookies are indispensable to the delivery of the service explicitly requested by you, they are exempt from the consent requirement under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as applicable and the corresponding provisions of Art. 4(5) of Law 3471/2006 as applicable.

3.2 Analytics Note

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate site usage and performance. These tools are cookieless: they store nothing on your device and do not track you across websites. Visits are counted using a temporary identifier derived from technical request data (such as IP address and browser information), which is anonymised immediately and cannot be used to recognise you across days or sites. We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in understanding how visitors use our Platform and improving its performance. You have the right to object to this processing at any time under Article 21 GDPR by contacting us.

4. Legal Basis

In order to be possible for us to provide the services and features of our website, we use strictly necessary cookies. We currently use only strictly necessary cookies together with cookieless measurement. If we introduce cookies that require consent in the future (for example analytics or marketing cookies), we will request your consent through a cookie banner before any such cookies are set, and we will update this policy accordingly.

6. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on the Platform are set by third parties on our behalf or independently in connection with their own services. These third parties may access and process information collected through those cookies for their own purposes, which are governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies, not this Cookie Policy.

We do not control the setting of third-party cookies and we encourage you to review the privacy and cookie policies of each relevant third party. The principal third-party service providers whose cookies are used on the Platform, and links to their applicable policies, are listed below:

We undertake reasonable due diligence when selecting third-party service providers and, where those providers process personal data on our behalf, we enter into data processing agreements with them in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. 7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes to applicable law, guidance issued by the HDPA or other competent supervisory authorities, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

When we make material changes to this Cookie Policy, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of the document and, where required by applicable law, we will notify you by means of a prominent notice on the Platform prior to the change taking effect. We may also seek your renewed consent where a change to our use of cookies requires it.

We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acknowledgement of the updated Cookie Policy. If any change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to bring the change to your attention.
